"He graduated from Stanford University and became a college dean as
wellas a college assistant superintendent. He presently lives with my
momHelen. They have been married 56 years. He was born Jan 1, 1918
inAllerton, Iowa.
"He has Alzheimer's Disease now and is also a stroke victim. This may
bethe first known case on the Girdner side of my family of
Alzheimer'sDisease. (This is something my brother and I had been
concerned with athere is so little family medical history. We were
worried that it couldbe genetic.)"
